About
I’m Nikitha Lewis, a school counselor based in Bengaluru, India. In addition to my school counseling role, I run a private practice where I support young adults facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, self-esteem concerns, and life transitions. Many of my clients are navigating the complex space between adolescence and adulthood—figuring out who they are, what they want, and how to manage the emotional weight of expectations from family, peers, and themselves. I take a compassionate, non-judgmental approach, helping them build tools for emotional regulation, healthier communication, and stronger self-awareness. Whether someone is struggling with persistent anxiety, feeling stuck in unhelpful relationship patterns, or working through depression, my goal is to create a safe space where they can unpack what’s happening and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
At school, I collaborate closely with teachers and parents to create supportive safeguarding protocols and respond thoughtfully to students’ mental health needs. My approach is human-centered and practical: I believe counseling should feel like a conversation with someone who truly listens, not just a checklist of interventions. Across both my school and private practice work, I’m committed to helping young people navigate their challenges with resilience and feel empowered to thrive.
